For me this is much more of an autmnal dram than a winter warmer due to the association with 'bonfire night' flavours.

Jura Winter Edition (2020) - Jura Winter Edition Whisky Review: A classic Jura expression, not sherried to death but the spirit is really brought to life by the addition of sherry-derived flavours complementing core Jura distillate.

Jura Two-One-Two (2019) - Jura Two-One-Two whisky review: Delicious! A great classic Jura expression full of coastal salinity and sweetness and that wonderfully complex toffee/latte coffee mixture and even a complimentary hint of mint present in this. 86/100.Jura Superstition (2016) - Jura Superstition (40%, OB, 2016) Category: Island single malt scotch whisky Origin: Isle of Jura Distillery Bottling: Emperador Whyte & Mackay ABV: 40% Cost: £35.95 What they say: Islanders were a superstitious.I think my expectations were met here and this seems to be the bin-end or infinity bottle for Jura's leftover, random and mostly worn-out casks. 77/100 It was hard to place any defined flavours and the whole thing seemed quite watery/watered-down in flavour. Jura Seven Wood (2018) - Jura Seven Wood whisky review: A little disappointing, the nose seemed OK but hardly worth it after that.Jura Rum Cask Finish (2021) - Sweet and spicy, plenty of rum influence here and bourbon maturation too but in all this polished / boiled sweetness I was left wondering where the classic 'Jura' elements were that I usually love so much? 83/100.Jura One And All (2017) - Jura One And All 20 Years Old (51%, OB, 2017) Category: Island single malt scotch whisky Origin: Isle of Jura Distillery Bottling: Emperador Whyte & Mackay ABV: 51% Cost: £122.45 What they.Jura Elements Fire 1998 Vintage (2016) - Isle of Jura 1998 Elements Fire (46%, OB, 684 Bottles, 2008) Category: Island single malt scotch whisky Origin: Isle of Jura Distillery Bottling: Emperador Whyte & Mackay, Feis Ile 2008 ABV: 46%.Jura Diurachs’ Own (2013) - Jura 16 Year Old Diurachs’ Own (40%, OB, 2012) Category: Island single malt scotch whisky Origin: Jura Distillery Bottling: Emperador – Whyte & Mackay ABV: 40% Cost: £44.99 What they say: Rich &.Jura Boutique Barrels 1993 Sherry JI Finish (2014) - Jura Boutique Barrels 1993 Sherry JI Finish ~ 54% (Emperador) 54% ABV, £78.65 Score 87/100 What they say: Isle of Jura Boutique Barrels The word ‘Boutique’ evokes a small but special space.I feel like this one is still getting there. Perhaps a slightly more subdued smoke and some earthier woody spices. Jura 18 Years Old (2021) - On paper this expression is full of great flavours but I found myself really looking for anything representative of its age.I found myself wishing for a little more depth (and grime) on the palate and this is a little sweet & polished on the finish but overall a great balance and intensity. Jura 12 Years Old (2021) - A much cleaner presentation from Jura, certainly they have tightened up on their base bourbon cask maturation stock.Jura 10 Years Old Origin (2013) - Jura Origin 10 Year Old Category: Island single malt scotch whisky Origin: Isle of Jura Distillery Bottling: Emperador ABV: 40% Cost: £28.27 Score 65/100 What they say: This is where it all.The Whiskyphiles tasting notes Official bottling By 1963 their work was complete they had introduced taller stills allowing the distillery to create a mix of malts. The distillery fell into disrepair, but in the 1960s two local estate owners Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith rebuilt the distillery, employing architect William Delme-Evans. History Even though the distillery didn’t open until 1810, the people of Jura were entitled to distill whisky for personal consumption, until a ban was introduced in 1781.
